THE BUG VAC CJM SERIES
The Bug Vac CJM Series is a patented mechanical pest-management system designed for both organic and conventional farming operations.
By targeting pests at multiple stages of the life cycle—from adults to nymphs, caterpillars and larvae—the Bug Vac gives growers another way to reduce pest pressure directly in the field.
With applications for Lygus, Diamondback Moth, Aphids, Flea Beetles, Cucumber Beetles, Grasshoppers and more, the Bug Vac can be adapted to a variety of crops and incorporated into existing pest-management programs.
HOW THE BUG VAC WORKS
-
CAPTURE
Removes pests directly from the crop.
Mechanically captures targeted agricultural pests as the Bug Vac moves through the field.
-
KILL
Targets multiple life stages.
Patented capture-and-kill technology targets adults, nymphs, caterpillars and larvae.
-
INTEGRATE
Works with your existing program.
Designed to complement organic and conventional pest-management programs.
PESTS & APPLICATIONS
-
LYGUS & APHIDS
Designed to mechanically capture targeted pests and help reduce pest pressure in the field.
-
MOTHS & BEETLES
Applications include Diamondback Moth larvae, flea beetles, cucumber beetles and other crop pests.
-
GRASSHOPPERS & OTHER PESTS
Specialized extensions expand Bug Vac applications to grasshoppers and other pest challenges in vegetable and legume crops.
BUILT FOR DIFFERENT CROPS
The Bug Vac can be adapted for different crops, pest pressures and field conditions. Specialized guards, extensions and screens allow the Bug Vac to be configured for a variety of agricultural applications.
SQUASH GUARDS • ARTICHOKE GUARDS • GRASSHOPPER EXTENSIONS
IN DEVELOPMENT — PLANNED FOR LATER 2026: THRIP SCREENS • MITE SCREENS

FIELD USE & FOOD SAFETY
AN ADDITIONAL TOOL AHEAD OF HARVEST
Some growers operate the Bug Vac ahead of harvest equipment as an additional food-safety tool, helping remove insects and other unwanted material from the crop prior to harvest.
The Bug Vac integrates into existing field operations while also providing mechanical pest-management benefits.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Continuing to develop solutions for real-world pest challenges.
Wild Oak Ag Design has ongoing field studies focused on evaluating and improving Bug Vac performance across different pests, crops and field conditions.
We also work directly with growers to evaluate new insect and crop applications. Have a specific pest challenge? Talk to Buck about your application.
PATENTED TECHNOLOGY
Innovation backed by intellectual property.
The Bug Vac technology is protected by multiple U.S. patents covering key elements of its mechanical pest-management system.
